Door Partners

Choose the Right Door for the Opening.

Three manufacturers, three personalities — we match the door to your entry, not the other way around.

ProVia — fiberglass & steel, detailed like custom+

ProVia is our go-to when the entry needs to make a statement: deep embossed panels, believable wood-grain stains, and decorative glass options that look like they were designed for your home — because they can be.

We use ProVia's exact door-series warranty documents on every proposal, so you know precisely what's covered before you choose.

Simpson — real wood, honest about exposure+

Simpson makes genuine wood doors — no substitute for the look and feel. But wood is honest: it needs the right exposure, the right finish, and the right maintenance to earn its keep.

We'll tell you straight whether your entry can carry a wood door. If the sun and rain say no, we'll show you a fiberglass option that gets you most of the look with far less upkeep.

Therma-Tru — the proven system+

Therma-Tru's fiberglass and steel entry systems are widely installed for good reason: they look right, seal tight, and hold up. A complete system — door, frame, weatherstripping — engineered to work together.

The right answer for most entries: dependable, attractive, and fairly priced.

Planning

Design the Entry. Respect the Exposure.

Style, glass, finish, sidelites, hardware — then the question that decides everything: what does this opening actually face?

Exposure matters+

Sun, rain, and overhang depth decide what your door can be. A south-facing entry with no porch cover will punish a dark-stained wood door — and void its warranty. The same door under a deep porch will last decades.

We assess your exposure before recommending a material: sun hours, rain direction, overhang coverage. The right door for a covered north entry and the right door for an exposed west entry are often different doors.

Fiberglass vs. steel vs. wood+

Fiberglass looks like wood, shrugs off weather, and needs almost no maintenance — the best all-around choice for most Georgia entries.

Steel is strong and affordable. Best for security-first entries and side doors where looks matter less.

Wood is unmatched in beauty and demands the most care. Right for covered entries and homeowners who'll maintain it.

Keep the frame or replace it?+

If your existing frame is square, solid, and well-flashed, a slab replacement can save real money. If it's out of square, rotted, or leaking air and water, a full pre-hung unit — frame, threshold, and weatherstripping together — is the only honest fix. We check and tell you which one your opening needs.

Our Door Process

Four steps, from consultation to closeout.

  1. ConsultWe look at your entry with you — style, exposure, and how the opening is actually performing.
  2. Measure & exposureThe opening is measured and its sun/rain exposure assessed, so the material recommendation fits the opening.
  3. InstallDoor, frame, threshold, and weatherstripping installed as one system.
  4. CloseoutOperation and seal checked with you, exact door-series warranty documents in hand.
